Objective/Explanation:
This film is a self-promotional film meant to highlight who I am as a creative. While that is true, it also serves as a prequel to The Woods. That means that the three films I have made are a trilogy, and their storylines connect together. This film provides context for the situation Sylvia is in in The Woods: it was all a trap. The facade of free-will she has is a lie, and she willingly put herself there.

Chances are, Silvia encountered this creature in an abandoned building, and it led her to this sense of security. The peaceful atmosphere of the forest, both in The Woods and in The Facility are all meant to allure and sedate the victim, leading to their eventual capture into The Realms. Having myself star as Robert in the film also paints Sylvia's films as more than an isolated incident, and gives the monster a more foreboding role.

This film was also a blast to make, and it was interesting to have myself filmed instead of being the filmer.

A prequel to The Woods felt natural, and this storyline finally feels complete for me. To have myself be in the film was an interesting twist.

The Facility is my classic-form horror in the best way possible.
