Objective/Explanation: I wanted a fresh, unique spin on a film with an idea I’ve never seen before. Not only that, but the music is specifically made to fit with the film, and I tried more unique camera angles for it.
This film was shot entirely by myself and without the use of a studio. I went out in real-life locations to film it, which I believe adds another element of authenticity.
It is also a sequel to my first short film, The Woods which further adds a creative twist on the story. The audience is made to believe that the character died at the end of the last short film, only for her to still be alive. It’s common for horror movies to kill off characters, but I wanted to give my character a happy ending.
